“Knock and the door will be opened to you.” Matthew 7:7

This verse is best suited in explaining a writer’s journey. For regular visitors to Bountiful Word, I think the best way I could respond it by quoting it here. I am pleased at the regularity in which you knock on the keys of your computer, to punch in the words Bountiful-word. It has been almost a year and a half since we had begun our humble journey.

You must be wondering at what kept some of our articles to be delayed in some of the previous months. Well, the answer is, we have been keeping ourselves very busy, in order to give you the best reading experience in town.

We have been busy in publishing our first book, book 1 in the trilogy “Hope, Vengeance, and History”. The book is out in this July. From the 1 July onwards, readers from the world have been united in one colour, under the Wall of Colours.

Wall of Colours and Other Stories is our first publishing venture. The writer of this book is Anu Lal, our leading contributor, and a columnist in various online journals. Wall of Colours and Other Stories is a collection of 35 short stories that tell stories about hope.

The book is available in Amazon.com and through various stores of Amazon, everywhere in the world, wherever Amazon is available. Wall of Colours and Other Stories is formatted in paperback and kindle forms.

The good news is that the book has already received a five star review on its kindle page, when hardly a month had passed since the publishing of it.

For those budding writers out there, author Anu Lal had included an ‘Author’s Note’ in Wall of Colours and Other Stories, that will explain the process of writing short stories in brief. From the first week of August onwards, Bountiful Word is becoming active again, with a whole lot of new themes and topics in order to help writers find and fall in love with their muse, or vice versa (occasionally).

Those who can’t wait reading author Anu Lal’s book, Wall of Colours and Other Stories, can order a copy in paperback here: Order

If you are kindle-creature, you can find your Wall of Colours and Other Stories here: Order

By the way, why on earth are you staring at it? Take a pen and paper, or open a word document. Here we go: we have a writing prompt for you today. Here is a quote with which the first section of Wall of Colours and Other Stories titled ‘Blue’ starts.

“Behind its blue face, the love of the sky shines in the gleam of stars.”

Write a prose or poem, fiction or non-fiction in 500 words and post in the comment box below. Remember, it should not be more than 500 words or less than 499 words. Your time starts now.
